Redesign exercise

KCTV.com has heard the you are the “go to” person for advice on creating an effective slide show interface. So they asked you propose a redesign to their interface based on your knowledge of usability, aesthetic presentation and research discussed recently this semester.

Their goals for these non-audio shows are that users view as many photos as possible and that they access links to outside information about what they can do to help. They also would like users to have an increased comprehension and understanding of the issues at hand.

Because this is a breaking news slide show, they also would like your advice on how to promote it on the site’s home page.

So, in the next hour, please work with your partner (list below) to develop:

1.) The side show interface design with 1-2 slides. (Perhaps a vertical and horizontal image)
2.) The promotion for the slide show on the site’s home page.

You will want to back up your suggestions with research findings that support them.
